Facebook Alerting Mechanism

Post your notifications automatically to your Facebook page so that your followers will automatically receive notification on their news feed.

Facebook pages are organized into groups.  The groups consist of a group code, group name, and description.

Facebook pages are subscribed using a page name, page id, and an access token. The Facebook page, access token details and one or more groups must be selected when subscribing a Facebook page.

Setting Up Your Dashboard to Post to Facebook

There are a few steps to this process. You'll need admin access to the Facebook page(s) you want to post to, and any test pages you'll be using. Due to changes in Facebook's security policy, to successfully authorize with Facebook when subscribing a new page, the dashboard domain name needs to be manually allow-listed in the Facebook App maintained by App Armor. If you encounter the following error, please contact support to help with this:

Important Note on Facebook Page Access

In order to post successfully, you'll need to have a Facebook for Business account for the Facebook page you want to post to.
