JSSDK Unknown Host Domain

You may encounter a page similar to this:

This occurs due to a new Facebook policy around the usage of its API, it requires that domains that use the API be explicitly allow-listed. Since AppArmor uses a separate subdomain for each client this is not possible to do ahead of time. Please contact support@apparmor.com and we will add your domain to the allow-list.

No Pages Associated with Facebook Account

If you are able to successfully login with Facebook but the page you are looking to subscribe is not present.

This likely occurs because of the profile access settings on the facebook page, you can check whether the page appears if you log in as the admin responsible for the page and go to: https://www.facebook.com/pages/?category=your_pages

  • Switch profiles to your university Facebook account and go to: https://www.facebook.com/settings/?tab=profile_access. Make sure that the person who is logging in is either under ‘People with facebook access’, or if they are under 'People with task access' that they have Content access turned on.
