AppArmor WordPress Plugin
AppArmor provides a custom WordPress plugin for use on your WordPress site. You should follow the steps at Subscribe a Web Page first to configure the look of the Alerts on your WordPress site.
Follow the steps below to add the AppArmor WordPress plugin to your site:
In The AppArmor Dashboard
- Log into your AppArmor Dashboard and navigate to Communications → Alerting Mechanisms → Website Alerts (View Details)
- Click the "Subscribers" tab, and locate the subscriber you created previously at Subscribe a Web Page.
- Click the Wordpress button in the subscriber listing to download the WordPress Plugin:
- This will download a ZIP file containing the WordPress plugin.
In WordPress
- Navigate to Plugins → Add New Plugin (the interface for this may differ based on the version of WordPress you are using.
- Select the ZIP file that you downloaded from the AppArmor Dashboard.
- You should now see the "AppArmor Website Alert" plugin in your list of plugins:
- You can also navigate to Settings → AppArmor Alert Website Plugin to view the settings. The settings are pre-populated and most of them should not need to be changed. However, you may want to toggle the option to "Hide Alert after First Visit". If this option is selected, users visiting your site will only see alerts the first time they visit the site after the alert is activated:
