Desktop Alert Settings
The Settings tab allows you to configure many different options including:
Desktop App Name: This is the name of that will appear in a tooltip when the user hovers their mouse over the desktop notification application icon in the system tray.
Audible Alert: Selects the default audible alert that is played when a notification is displayed. Options are Low, Medium, and High.
Exit Option: Allows you to enable or disable the user’s ability to right-click the desktop notification icon and exit to tray tool. If the tool has been exited, then the device will not receive desktop notifications.
Confirm Acknowledge and Close: When a user is closing an alert, an additional popup will show, asking the user to confirm the closure. Set to False to disable this behaviour.
About URL: Allows you to specify a URL where the user can learn about the desktop notifications service. If a URL is specified, then when the user right-clicks the tray icon, an “About” context menu item will appear. Otherwise, no “About” icon will be available or displayed in the context menu.
Recent Notifications URL: Allows you to specify a URL where the user can view past notifications. If a URL is specified, then when the user right-clicks the tray icon a “Recent Notifications” context menu item will appear. Otherwise, no “Recent Notifications” icon will be available or displayed in the context menu.
Show "Acknowledge and Close" Button: Allows the user to close the alert. If set to false, the user cannot close the alert, and will remain until the alert subsides or the AutoClose timer is elapsed.
Show "Edit Server URL" When Disconnected: Adjust the server url of the application to point to another location.

Associate Devices with User Accounts:
Desktop Panic Alerts: When enabled, the user can initiate a panic alert by triple clicking the desktop notification icon, or using a specially configured desktop notification icon that launch the app using the /PANIC command line switch.
Panic Initiated User Notification Text: When a user initiates a panic alert, the text entered will be displayed as a toast or balloon notification. If left blank, no notification is displayed to the user who initiated the panic alert.
Restrict Panic Alert These Groups: Only allow Panic alerts to made by devices that exist in the chosen groups.
Position: Allows you to specify the position and size for all desktop alerts. This is specified by 4 numbers, in the following order: Position (Left,Top,Width,Height) (e.g.: 50,50,50,40)
AutoClose (Seconds): Automatically close any triggered alerts after a predefined amount of time (in seconds)
Visible: Make the DesktopNotification icon visible or not in the computers system tray
Press “Save Changes” to commit the changes you’ve made to the settings.
