How to Clone a WorkAlone Instance

WorkAlone Instances are used to create multiple versions of WorkAlone for a single client. Each WorkAlone Instance is independent from the others, and can be configured for multiple different use cases.

  1. To clone a new WorkAlone Instance, go to the “Additional Settings” tab on the “WorkAlone Settings” page.

  2. Click the “Clone this Instance” button

  3. Fill out the form

    1. New Instance Name: This is the name for the new instance. It must be unique. It will also be used as this Instance’s menu name within the AppArmor Safety app.

    2. New Instance Code: A short one-word code for the new instance. It must be unique. This is appended to the WorkAlone Session Question variable names in the new Instance.

  4. Click the “Save” button

  5. Click the “Refresh” button to refresh the page and begin editing your new WorkAlone Instance

  6. Your new instance will now show up in the dropdown menu at the top-right corner of the Summary tab. Click on the Instance Name to begin editing the new Instance to your desired settings.
