Subscriber Options

The fields that represent notification subscriptions and user information can be managed in the Subscriber Options section of the Portal Settings.

To add a new field to be managed in the Portal, click the “Add Field” button to show the “Field Properties”

Open

1. Field: Select the user field corresponding to the mechanism subscription.

2. Required: Specify whether the field is required

3. Locked: Specifies whether the user can edit the value in the portal.

4. Mapping (Optional): Some fields may be mapped as either an Email or SMS/Phone field. This indicates that the field will be used as a notification subscription to the groups chosen.
   
   

   
   These groups are pulled from the mechanism groups set up for each Alerting Mechanism. For more information, see the https://ravemobilesafety.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/OT/pages/3303014534 .
   A friendly name can be added for display in the Portal, along with a note.
