Web Version of a Mobile App Menu (WebApp)

The Web App is a tool that makes menus and content within the mobile app accessible through any web browser.

To enable a menu to be web accessible, set the 'Web Access' property to True on the menu in the Designer. This will enable navigation to any other menus underneath buttons, or button jumps. See below.

  • The menu will be available using this URL: https://[dashboard].apparmor.com/WebApp/?menu=[MENUNAME]. Here is an example menu: https://bramptontransit.apparmor.com/WebApp/?menu=Incident%20Report (note that you may use a space or identify a space with “%20”).

  • All Menu Items will be rendered by the tool except a few more uncommon items:

    • Chat Submit Button

    • Barcode

    • Location

  • The following Modules will also be rendered by the Web App:

    • Browser

    • SSO

  • One additional function exists via the WebApp is the ability to submit PDFs as an attachment to a reporting function. This is not available in the mobile app.

  • The rendering of the menu will honor all conditional properties (AutoClickConditions, Visible Conditions, etc.)

  • If you would like to see the draft settings on the web application, simply add to the end of the URL “&draft=true”. For example: https://[dashboard].apparmor.com/WebApp/?menu=[MENUNAME]&draft=true

  • As a best practice, attempt to uniquely name the menu so that it the WebApp renders the correct menu you’re working on.
