Panic Alerts

This Panic Alerts section is a part of the “AppArmor Alert” mass notification feature.  It allows users to triple tap a desktop icon to summon security services to their location, or use the AppArmor Panic app for Apple Watch.  The panic alerts are split into two sections: desktop panic alerts, and watch panic alerts.

Desktop Panic Alerts

The panic alerts are displayed in the list with details about the device and user that initiated the panic. Security staff can resolve the panic through the interface.

Watch Panic Alerts

Watch panic alerts are initiated by wearable devices such as Apple Watches. The listing displays user details of each panic activation. The interface allows dispatchers to view user details of each user who activated a panic.

The users’s location may also be available if the location services were allowed for the device. If location is available, a “Location” button appears in the list that displays a map showing the user location.
