User Setting Profiles allow you to configure an interface that will appear the first time a user runs the Desktop Notification Application. After you create a User Setting Profile, you will be able to access it in the Windows App and Mac App pages.
Creating and Editing a User Setting Profile
When you first navigate to this tab, you can either choose an existing User Setting Profile to edit, or add a new Profile. Both options bring up the same interface. You can use the following options to configure the Profile.
Profile Name
Give your Profile a unique and descriptive name.
Profile Code
Alphanumeric, max 15 chars. Leave blank to be default profile (not recommended).
Show on New Registration
Choose whether you want the settings interface to display the first time a user opens the app. If you select “Don’t Show” the user will be able to access the interface by clicking on the tray icon and selecting “Settings”.
Settings URL
Click “Set Default URL”. Currently this is the only supported URL.
Available and Selected Groups
Define the groups that the user will have access to when they open the Settings interface. They will be able to subscribe and unsubscribe from all groups in the “Selected Groups” list.
