Overview

This document outlines the user experience when a push notification is received through the AppArmor app. The notification has many different steps to ensure that the user can read the whole notification, while still being able to easily access all other app features.

  1. Push notification to lock screen.
The notification stays on the lock screen until it’s acknowledged by a user, just like a text message.

  2. Push opens in app.
The user sees the whole text of the notification. If there is a URL in the notification, the user will be prompted to tap “More Info” to visit the link.

  3. Alert Status
Persistent, in-app notification. Colors and icon can be changed if desired.

  4. Alert History View
When the user taps the alert status, they can see the detail view of the alert, and if there is a url in the alert, they can open it.
