AppArmor Safety is a custom-branded safety app for your institution with many optional features. This guide will provide you with an overview of the product.

There are 2 main elements of the AppArmor Safety product: the Mobile App and the Cloud Dashboard.

Mobile App

The Mobile App is generally made available for public download in your institution’s Apple App Store and Google Play Store accounts. Users can download the app to their iOS or Android devices from there.

AppArmor Safety apps are fully branded to your institution. For example, see the University of Florida’s Gator Safe app.

The development of your AppArmor Safety app is led by the AppArmor Project Management Team, part of the Operations Department at AppArmor. For an overview of the onboarding process visit AppArmor Safety Onboarding.

Cloud Dashboard

The AppArmor Cloud Dashboard is where all administrative action is taken for your AppArmor Safety app. From the Dashboard you can send Push Notifications to your Mobile App users, edit the app’s content in real time, accept and monitor users' incoming Chat, Mobile BlueLight, and Virtual Walkhome requests, and much more!
