The Location Share module allows a user to share a one-time position with a friend. Sometimes this feature is also called "I'm OK".

An example of where this is used is in the "Send Map with your Location" button in the app.

Send Map with your Location

Share your location with a friend by sending them a map to your position. The user's real-time Latitude and Longitude is displayed in the app.

This feature will send a Google Maps link to the person(s) of the user's choice.

Note: Your device must have location services enabled.

I'm OK feature can be sent by SMS. If you do not see this feature the app will require an update.

How it looks like in the app:

After the user clicks on the "Email Location" button, the app will open their default email client to prompt them to input who they want to email their location to, along with an automatically generated Google Maps link with their current location:

If you would like to add a space to separate the text from the goole link, enter "\n" (no quotes) at the end of the text. (i.e. An emergency situation has just happened in AppArmor. Don't worry though, I'm OK! I've also included a link to a google map with my location below.\n

Adding two "\n" (no quotes) will create a new paragraph (i.e. An emergency situation has just happened in AppArmor. Don't worry though, I'm OK! I've also included a link to a google map with my location below.\n\n
