Toggle Permissions 

Unchecks and checks ALL of the permissions.

Key Contact 

To indicate who the main contact(s) of the app / project are.

Defaults

Allows a user to change the default settings of the app's settings file. This is a very powerful tool, give access to as few people as possible, and contact AppArmor support before you make changes here.

Designer

Allows a user to access the Designer Content Management system. See Designer Content Management video for details.

Map Builder

Allows a user to access the Map Builder system. See Interactive Maps video for details.

Alert Status

Allows a user to activate an Alert Status. This is a legacy activation system. If you have purchased AppArmor Alert, we imagine your team will be using the Unified Notifications sending wizard instead for this. See Alert Status video for details.

Push Notifications

Allows a user to send push notifications. This is a legacy activation system. If you have purchased AppArmor Alert, we imagine your team will be using the Unified Notifications sending wizard instead for this. See Push Notifications video for details.

Location Services

Allows a user to accept and monitor Mobile BlueLight and Virtual Walkhome requests. Also allows access to the Walk History tab that shows all past walks from Virtual Walkhome, Mobile BlueLight, and Friend Walk. See Mobile BlueLightVirtual Walkhome, and Friend Walk videos for details.

Client Profile

Allows a user to change the Client Profile. They can update contact information and security settings, and change the default settings of the Location Map. 

Chat

Allows a user to accept and monitor Chat requests. See Chat with Dispatch video for details.

Users

Allows a user to manage users that are registered through Guest Registration via the COVID-19 Self Assessment Tool, WorkAlone, or data that is funnelled through AppArmor Alert’s Data Sync.

Check-Ins

Allows a user to manage and send out Check-In requests to specific User Groups.

Incident Report Config 

Allows a user to view tip reports and receive notifications, as well as have access to all the additional tabs on the left side of the Incident Reporting section (Reports, Statistics, Routing, Maps, Export, Settings, Staff Permissions, and Authorized Recipients).

Incident Report Viewer 

Allows a user to view tip reports that have been sent through the app, and to receive notifications when one comes through. This is a relatively new feature.

Geofence Builder

Allows a user to create and edit Geofences. See Geofencing video for details.

App Management

Allows a user to access marketing materials for the app, and to view details relating to your app's presence in the App Stores.

Staff

This is effectively the "Admin" permission, as it allows a user to add and remove Staff and Change Staff permissions (including their own). Only the highest-level users should be given this permission.

Test Notification

Allows a user to access the Send Notification section, with access to Sending Profiles marked as "Test". Also gives access to the Tracking section.

Exercise Notification

Allows a user to access the Send Notification section, with access to Sending Profiles marked as "Exercise". Also gives access to the Tracking section.

Actual Notification

Allows a user to access the Send Notification section, with access to Sending Profiles marked as "Actual". Also gives access to the Tracking section.

Configure Notification

This is the administrative permission for the AppArmor Alert Mass Notification product. It gives access to the Alerting Mechanisms, Templates, and Sending Profiles sections.

Portal Settings

Allows a user to access the Portal URL, Design, Authentication, Subscriber Options and App Distribution.

Social Escape

Allows a user to view Social Escape activations with the number that was used to register, as well as the date and time for creation and completion of a Social Escape.

Configure WorkAlone

This is the administrative permission for the AppArmor WorkAlone product. It allows the user to configure WorkAlone instance settings such as session questions, user notifications and contact notifications.

View WorkAlone

Allows a user to view WorkAlone sessions as well as history for past WorkAlone sessions.
