Links are one of two items that can be added to the Side Menu. They are sued to navigate throughout the app.

Designer Fields

Links can either be added directly to the Side Menu, or they can be organized into groups under Headers.

In the image below the “Home” link was added directly to the Side Menu, while the “Address Book” link has been added under the “MODULES” header.

While these links look different, they both share the same designer properties.

Background Color: The background color of the link.

Icon Code: The icon in the link label. Can be left blank.

Label Color: The color of the label text.

Label Text: The content of the label.

Link URL: The navigation URL of the link. Examples:

  • jump://Address Book - navigates to the module named “Address Book:

  • reload:// - Reloads the app and goes to the root menu.

  • A regular URL can also be used to open a browser window to a specific website.

Name: The name of the link used to identify it in the designer.

Visible Condition: Condition that must be satisfied to make the header visible. When left blank, the header is always visible.
