Platform Overview

The AppArmor platform consists of two main components; mobile apps and a backend web dashboard. 

Mobile Apps

The mobile apps are downloaded from the Apple App Store and Google Play.  The apps can be installed on compatible smartphone devices running the iOS or Android operating systems. The mobile apps act as an end-user interface to access safety related information, contact security services, and a variety of other personal safety features.

Previous versions of the AppArmor mobile apps also supported the Blackberry 10 operating system, however that platform is now being phased out.  Blackberry is only supported for legacy purposes and will be removed in the future.

Backend Web Dashboard

The backend web dashboard allows security administrators to configure their safety resources, respond to end users, view usage data, send notifications and a variety of other features.  The dashboard is accessed through a web browser, and is cloud hosted for access anywhere with an Internet connection.
