AppArmor supports exporting to FTP in order to automatically populate subscribers. We use a simple approach with a low data footprint for a highly efficient and reliable system. Specifications for export below.

Folder Structure

Folders should be named after each Alerting Mechanism. Please name them according to the following specifications (no quotes):
  • Email Messages: "EMAIL"
  • SMS Text Messaging: "SMS"
  • Voice Call: "VOICE"
  • Desktop Alerts: "DESKTOP"

Text Files:

  • Please export your subscribers to a .txt file, with one subscriber/line.
    • Note that the system does not accept metadata for the subscribers, just raw phone numbers (SMS, Voice Call), email addresses (Email), or Device IDs (Desktop Alerts) should be included.
  • The .txt file should be named according to the "Group Code" that has been chosen for the group.
    • This is usually a lower case, simplified adaptation of the Group Name. Check the AppArmor Dashboard for the Group Code for the group you are exporting the subscribers for.
    • Example: "studentsms"
  • No labels
