The designer tool allows real time editing to your mobile safety app.  The designer consists of three sections:

  • A toolbar across the top of the interface
  • Tree view outline of your app content and structure on the right side
  • Module properties displayed on the right side

To edit your app, select the appropriate item in the tree outline on the left side.  The appropriate properties will be displayed on the right.  Edit the properties as appropriate and save changes. Continue the process until you have completed making your changes.  Then press the “Publish” button to make the new changes available through your mobile safety app.

New modules can be added to your app by first selecting an appropriate location in the tree outline, then choose the module from the drop-down list on the toolbar.  The new item will be added, and you can adjust it’s properties.  When finished, save your changes and publish.

Modules can be deleted from your app by selecting them in the tree outline then click the delete button (trash can icon) in the toolbar.  When complete, publish your changes.

Modules can also be cut, copied and pasted to various parts of the tree outline.

The order of the modules can be adjusted by pressing the up or down arrow icons.

The following sections list the properties of each module and provides a description.

[WE NEED TO CHECK ALL THE PROPERTIES OF THE MODULES BELOW.  I THINK A BUNCH OF THEM AREN’T USED IN THE MOBILE CODE]
