Configuring the Designer for SimpleAuth

Configure a menu in the Designer designer to have a Dynamic Menu URL with the following url.

An example of this URL is the following: https://universitycollege.apparmor.com/Tools/SimpleAuth/?jump=Protected Content&remember=TRUE

There are two url parameters to consider when editing this url.

  1. jump - The menu the app will jump to after validating the username/password combo. In the example above, “Protected Content“ is the menu the app jumps too once login is successful

  2. remember - Set this to “TRUE“ if the user only has to log in once to access the protected content.

  1. New Simple Auth credentials can be added to the list via the Add New Credential button. Enter the new username and password and click the Add Credential button to confirm.

  1. The passwords are hidden by default on this page. The Reveal button can provide a quick glance at the password used for Simple Auth for a specific username.

  2. To remove a Simple Auth Credential, the Delete button can be used.
