  1. Make sure that you have set up User-Specified Emergency Contacts and/or Organization-Specified Emergency Contacts before continuing.

  2. Navigate to the “Contact Notifications” tab on the WorkAlone Settings Page

  3. Click the “Assign Contacts to Notification” button for the notification that you want to assign a contact to. In this example, we are going to assign a contact to receive a WorkAlone Started Notification

  4. Fill out the form

    1. Select a contact to assign the notification to.

    2. Select the notification type. You must select at least one. Some of the checkboxes may be greyed out if the contact is unable to receive those types of notifications. For example, User-Specified Emergency Contacts can only receive notifications by text.

      Only Missed Check-In Notifications and Panic Notifications are able to be sent by Phone Call.

        Please note: Receiving a voice call is only an option for Missed Check-In or Panic notifications

    3. Edit the notification text. A default is provided as a starting point. You can insert variable placeholders into the text by using the “Insert Placeholder” dropdown on the top right.
