App Will Not Connect

If your app will not reconnect and remains red, there are several possible causes:

Issue 1: No Internet connection

Verify that you have a connection to the Internet. This can be done by launching a web browser and attempting to visit a known popular website. If your connection is down, then this will need to be resolved by your network administrators before the app can connect.

Issue 2: Public WiFi Internet Connections

Many public WiFi Internet connections require that a user agree to terms in their web-browser before they can truly connect to the Internet. In these scenarios, your WiFi indicator will show connected, but the Internet access is not available. Launch your web browser and accept any terms of the WiFi provider, then attempt connecting again by single left clicking the app icon.

Issue 3: System Issues

It is possible, however unlikely, that AppArmor may be experiencing a systems issue. In this scenario you will need to wait until the systems are available again to connect.

Issue 4: Configuration Issue

The AppArmor desktop app is highly configurable, however it is possible that a configuration or customization of the settings can cause the app to remain disconnected, or not connect at all. In this scenario, please open a ticket with the AppArmor Support Team to investigate.
